The excursion included travel, accommodation, and meals, during which Jukes participated as a guest speaker. This interaction occurred while the firm was conducting polling work for the party that allegedly bypassed standard transparency requirements.

Regulatory concerns have emerged regarding whether the trip constituted a reportable political donation under electoral law. No record of the visit appears in official declarations, raising questions about compliance with transparency mandates for political figures. The British Polling Council is currently investigating the firm for failing to disclose the commissioning parties behind published survey data.

These findings follow an undercover investigation into the relationship between the aide and the polling firm, which allegedly involved coordinating the publication of polls without disclosing their financial backing.
