FAA Employee Charged with Threatening President A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employee, Dean DelleChiaie, 35, was arrested on Monday, May 4, 2026, in New Hampshire, on charges of threatening to kill President Donald Trump. The arrest followed an investigation initiated by the U.S. Secret Service asourceser DelleChiaie allegedly conducted concerning internet searches on his government work computer and subsequently sent an email threat to the White House.
The investigation began in late January 2026 when the FAA's Information Technology department notified the Secret Service about DelleChiaie's internet search history. These searches included phrases such as “how to get a gun into a federal facility,” “previous assassination attempts against the President,” and “I am going to kill Donald John Trump.” DelleChiaie also reportedly searched for the locations of the homes of Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
During an interview with Secret Service agents on February 3, DelleChiaie admitted to the searches, expressing remorse and citing dissatisfaction with the administration's policies, including the war against Iran. On April 21, DelleChiaie allegedly sent an email to the White House's public address, explicitly stating his intent to “neutralize/kill” President Trump. He is currently undergoing legal proceedings in connection with these charges.
