Israeli Soldiers Kill Four in West Bank

Israeli soldiers killed four individuals, including a pregnant woman and a 4-year-old child, when they fired upon a family car in the occupied West Bank on Friday. The incident occurred near the village of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, following an alleged attempt by the vehicle to ram soldiers at a military checkpoint. The Israeli military stated that soldiers opened fire after the vehicle accelerated towards them, resulting in the deaths of the driver, his pregnant wife, their child, and another relative. Two other children in the car, aged 7 and 9, sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital in Jerusalem. This event contributes to the ongoing violence in the West Bank, which has seen a significant increase in fatalities since October 7, 2023.
