Hasbro lifts 2026 revenue outlook to 7%-9%
Digital gaming and collectibles helped Hasbro beat third-quarter estimates before the holiday season, while its shares edged higher in premarket trading.

Hasbro raised its fiscal 2026 revenue forecast on Tuesday to 7%-9% constant-currency growth, from 5%-7%, Reuters reported via Channel NewsAsia on Oct. 20.
The upgrade followed third-quarter revenue of $1.60 billion, about 8% above analysts’ average estimate of $1.48 billion, according to LSEG data cited in the report and Atlas360 calculations.
Constant currency strips out foreign-exchange swings to show underlying sales trends. Hasbro’s adjusted profit was $2.90 a share for the quarter, compared with the $1.86 average estimate.
The Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming unit grew 31% in the third quarter from a year earlier. The segment, which includes Magic: The Gathering and Monopoly Go!, accounted for 51% of Hasbro’s fiscal 2025 revenue.
Hasbro’s investment strategy “is paying off”, eMarketer analyst Zak Stambor said, adding that the company was well positioned before the holiday period.
Magic: The Gathering quarterly revenue exceeded $600 million for the first time, rising 34% from a year earlier. The figure was equal to at least 37.5% of Hasbro’s total third-quarter revenue, based on Atlas360 calculations.
The consumer products segment, which covers traditional toys, increased revenue by 4% from a year earlier. Stronger sales of collectibles tied to Marvel, K-Pop Demon Hunters and Transformers helped demand.
Hasbro, the maker of Play-Doh, has posted gains in digital gaming for seven straight quarters. The company has also benefited from product launches including Secrets of Strixhaven and Marvel Super Heroes.
The results included about $55 million of tariff refunds, meaning repayments linked to duties previously paid on imported goods. Hasbro also said it doubled its share repurchase target, though the supplied report did not give the revised amount.
Hasbro shares edged about 1% higher in premarket trading on Tuesday and had outperformed Mattel’s stock so far this year. Mattel has faced investor pressure to better monetize its intellectual property after the surprise departure of longtime Chief Executive Officer Ynon Kreiz.
Hasbro’s franchise pipeline extends beyond the quarter. Atlas360 reported on October 17 that the company refreshed its Star Wars: The Black Series action figures, with pre-orders open for a new wave ahead of the 2027 franchise anniversary.
Atlas360 also reported on September 13 that Hasbro added the Dreadnok Thunder Machine to its GI Joe Classified Series, with pre-orders running until October 23 for 2027 delivery.
