WisdomTree beats EPS estimates with $171 bn in assets
Revenue missed forecasts slightly while adjusted operating margin reached 43.1%, and shares fell 3.9% in regular trading.

WisdomTree reported adjusted third-quarter 2026 earnings of $0.32 a share, above analysts’ $0.30 estimate, in an earnings call transcript published Nov. 1 by Investing Nigeria.
The Nov. 1 transcript also showed WisdomTree narrowed full-year discretionary spending guidance to $83 million to $87 million and raised interest-income guidance to $9 million. Revenue increased 43% from a year earlier to $179.4 million, slightly below forecasts.
Assets under management were a record $171 billion at quarter-end, up 5% from June 30. Net inflows totaled $4.6 billion in the quarter and $13.6 billion for the year to date, according to the transcript.
Chief Financial Officer Bryan Edmiston said, “Our assets under management reached a record $171 billion at quarter end, marking our seventh consecutive quarter of record AUM.” He said adjusted operating margin of 43.1% “underscore the operating leverage in our business model.”
The company attributed the quarter’s growth to higher assets under management, stronger trading activity and contributions from Ceres and Atlantic House, which the transcript described as recent acquisitions. Adjusted net income was $49.5 million in the quarter.
Inflows were spread across regions and products. WisdomTree recorded $2.4 billion of net inflows in the U.S., $1.7 billion in Europe and $500 million from on-chain products, meaning products tied to blockchain-based records.
The earnings beat was modest. Adjusted EPS exceeded consensus by $0.02, or 6.67%, while revenue of $179.37 million was $1.36 million below the $180.73 million forecast, a shortfall of 0.75%, according to the transcript.
WisdomTree shares closed the regular session at $20.71, down 3.9%, and were unchanged after hours. The shares were above their 52-week low of $10.69 and below their 52-week high of $25.91.
Management used the call to present WisdomTree as broader than a traditional exchange-traded-fund provider. An ETF is a fund that trades on an exchange like a stock. The company said it is building around public markets, private markets and tokenization, a term for representing financial assets on blockchain systems.
WisdomTree said it expects to launch private-market allocations in an ETF wrapper in 2027. It also said it plans to expand its on-chain platform through partnerships with BitGo, MoonPay, Stable Sea, HashKey, Marketnode and Synthesys.
The newer businesses are not yet a large confirmed earnings driver in the material. The transcript said analysts asked how WisdomTree would monetize tokenization, and management said the business remains in investment mode, with potential revenue from asset-management fees and broker-dealer services.
WisdomTree said fourth-quarter diluted shares are expected to be 154 million to 160 million, reflecting convertible notes and an assumed average stock price of $21 to $24. Third-party distribution fees are expected to remain around 3% of revenue, with no material change expected into 2027.
