Real Madrid's late comeback secures 4-3 win over AS Roma

Real Madrid defeated AS Roma 4-3 on Tuesday after scoring three goals in the final eight minutes of their Champions League match at Stadio Olimpico. The Spanish side trailed 3-1 until the 80th minute before mounting the comeback.

Manager José Mourinho, who took charge of the club four months ago, used second-half substitutions to shift the game's momentum. Arda Güler and Endrick entered at the hour mark, followed by Carlos Espí in the 78th minute. All three players participated in the sequence of goals that overturned the result.

Espí scored in the 82nd minute off an assist from Endrick, who was named the game's MVP by UEFA. Endrick leveled the score at 3-3 with a header two minutes later. Antonio Rüdiger secured the win in the 90th minute after connecting with a cross from Güler, who finished the match with two assists.

The result marks a turnaround for a team facing scrutiny regarding its European prospects and Mourinho's tenure. The comeback relied on aerial threats from set-piece deliveries that the Roma defense failed to neutralize during the closing stages.
