007 First Light, an upcoming James Bond video game from IO Interactive, is expected to take roughly 20 hours to complete on a first playthrough, according to an estimate shared by the game’s gameplay director during a recent hands-on event in London. The estimate was reported by YouTuber JorRaptor.
The director noted that overall playtime will depend on how players approach the campaign. A stealth-heavy style is likely to stretch the run time compared with a more direct, action-focused approach.
The estimate also does not include the recently announced TacSim mode, which is intended to support replaying levels and exploring alternative opportunities, potentially adding additional hours.
IO Interactive has also said it plans to support 007 First Light with longer-term live service updates. Based on the studio’s approach to Hitman’s World of Assassination, that could mean new objectives and missions added asourceser launch, extending the game’s longevity beyond the initial campaign.
