Ambiq Micro Chief Executive Esaka Fumihide sold $255,017 of company stock on Oct. 15, 2026, Investing.com reported in an Oct. 17, 2026 article.

Ambiq Micro shares closed at $49.88 on Oct. 16, down 4.22% for the session and 15% over one week, while the article said the stock had returned 64% over the past year.

The sale covered 5,000 common shares at prices ranging from $49.13 to $51.85 a share. Investing.com reported that the transactions were made under a Rule 10b5-1 plan adopted on May 15, 2026. Rule 10b5-1 plans let corporate insiders arrange trades in advance under set conditions.

The stock sale followed Fumihide’s exercise of 5,000 options at $8.12 a share, for a total exercise value of $40,599, according to the article. The options came from a grant in which one quarter vested on Feb. 21, 2020, with the rest vesting in equal monthly installments tied to continued service.

After the transaction, Fumihide directly held 443,900 Ambiq Micro common shares, Investing.com reported. The article also cited InvestingPro analysis saying the stock traded above its fair value estimate.

Ambiq Micro has reported second-quarter revenue of $33.9 million, up 89.7% from a year earlier, and reduced its non-GAAP loss, a company-adjusted measure, to $1.8 million. The company raised its full-year sales forecast to about $135 million.

Analyst coverage cited by Investing.com showed differing views. Jefferies began coverage with a buy rating and a $90 price target, Stifel raised its target to $85, UBS lifted its target to $73, and BofA Securities raised its target to $75 while keeping an underperform rating.
