Blizzard Entertainment is set to roll out Hearthstone Patch 35.4 on May 4, 2026, introducing new “Class Sets” for four classes in the “Restoration of Azeroth” expansion. The update also starts a new Arena season featuring Dual Class play, along with limited-time events and shop offers.
New Class Sets for four classes
Patch 35.4 adds Class Sets for Druid, Hunter, Paladin, and Mage. Each Class Set includes seven unique cards: one Legendary, two Epics, two Rares, and two Commons.
Players can obtain the cards through “CATACLYSM” packs, by crasourcesing them with in-game dust, or by purchasing the sets directly.
Pricing listed by Blizzard: - Individual Class Set (one class): $9.99 USD, 1,000 Runestones, or 1,200 Gold. - Bundle with all four Class Sets: $19.99 USD, 2,000 Runestones, or 2,500 Gold. The bundle includes a bonus Cultivating Sprite Signature Epic card and a Volcanic Krush Lite Hero Skin.
Arena season: Dual Class returns
The patch also begins a new Arena season that brings back Dual Class Arena, letting players drasources from two chosen classes. Blizzard said all ongoing Arena runs will end when the patch deploys, and the new season will begin.
Limited-time events and free packs
Two in-game events are scheduled alongside the patch: - “Forging the Dragon Soul” (May 5–26), with rewards including a Golden Dragon Soul and various card packs. - “Ruby Sanctum” (May 26–June 2), with additional card packs and Tavern Tickets.
Blizzard also said free “CATACLYSM” packs will be distributed weekly from May 5 to June 2.
