Cardinals Quarterback Situation Unconfirmed for 2026

The Arizona Cardinals have not designated Jacoby Brissett as their starting quarterback for the 2026 NFL season, despite Kyler Murray's departure. Brissett, currently under contract, is scheduled to earn a base salary of $4.88 million, with potential earnings up to $5.44 million including bonuses, and an additional $2 million in incentives.

The team recently signed Gardner Minshew to a one-year deal valued at approximately $5.75 million, which could increase to $8.25 million. This financial arrangement indicates Minshew's potential compensation exceeds Brissett's for the upcoming season, suggesting an open competition for the starting role.
