Dubai Chamber adds 37,373 companies in January-September
Sultan Al Mansoori said member trade reached Dh252 billion, with Dubai courting cross-border business ties at a Shenzhen forum.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce added 37,373 companies in January-September 2026, Dubai Chambers Chairman Sultan Al Mansoori said in a Khaleej Times interview published Oct. 18.
In the Oct. 18 interview, Al Mansoori put the value of member export and re-export activity at Dh252 billion over the same nine months; no year-earlier comparison was provided for either measure.
The figures point to continued business formation in Dubai at a time when the emirate is seeking to deepen trade links and attract companies using its role as a logistics, finance and services hub.
The interview took place during the Dubai Business Forum in Shenzhen, China, an event organized by Dubai Chambers. Al Mansoori said the membership and trade numbers showed confidence in Dubai’s business environment and its competitive advantages, according to Khaleej Times.
He said Dubai-based companies were using the city’s position to reach more overseas markets and build a longer-term international presence. He also cited infrastructure, logistics networks and digital capabilities as factors supporting companies operating from the emirate.
Dubai’s economy has leaned on trade, transport, tourism, finance and real estate to attract capital and talent. The chamber data offers a partial measure of that appeal, focused on companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and trade activity by its members rather than the full economy.
Al Mansoori also pointed to sectors Dubai is trying to develop, including agentic AI, a form of artificial intelligence designed to perform tasks with a degree of autonomy, as well as the digital economy, fintech and the green economy. He said those areas were creating openings for established firms and entrepreneurs.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization under Dubai Chambers, alongside Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and Dubai International Chamber. Its stated role is to represent and support the emirate’s business community across company formation, operations, partnerships and overseas expansion.
The published interview did not give a sector breakdown for the 37,373 new companies, their countries of origin, their size, or how many were new incorporations rather than chamber registrations. It also did not provide comparable January-September figures for 2025.
Al Mansoori said Dubai Chamber of Commerce would continue expanding services and initiatives in line with business needs. He linked that work to the Dubai Economic Agenda, known as D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy and place the city among the world’s top three global cities.
