Chelsea climbs to fourth as Neto brace downs Everton

Chelsea climbed to fourth place in the Premier League on Friday after a 2-0 victory over Everton, fueled by two goals from Pedro Neto. The result ended Chelsea's 22-match streak of conceding goals, marking the club's first league clean sheet since Jan. 17.

The match saw Chelsea goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez hospitalized after a 75th-minute collision with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite. Mike Penders replaced him to make his Premier League debut.

Manchester City extended its perfect start to the season with a win over Ipswich Town, securing seven consecutive league victories for the first time in club history. Erling Haaland scored twice to overcome an early goal from Ipswich’s Daizen Maeda.

Liverpool rallied to defeat Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium after the hosts were reduced to nine men. Brentford took an early lead through Keane Lewis-Potter before Yehor Yarmoliuk was sent off for headbutting in first-half stoppage time. Liverpool capitalized in the second half with goals from Victor Munoz and Alexander Isak, while Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt was also dismissed.

Fulham earned its first league win of the season, beating Hull City 1-0 at Craven Cottage. Alex Iwobi scored the decisive goal in the 33rd minute, ending a six-match winless run for manager Alvaro Arbeloa. Fulham finished with ten men following a stoppage-time red card for Ryan Sessegnon.
