US Marshals Arrest Tate Brothers in Miami

Influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were taken into custody by United States Marshals in Miami, Florida, on Saturday following the issuance of a sealed warrant. The arrest follows the filing of 59 new criminal charges by British prosecutors, including allegations of rape, sex trafficking, and assault, stemming from incidents reported between 2010 and 2017.

The United Kingdom Crown Prosecution Service has formally requested the extradition of the brothers to face these charges, which include 42 counts against Andrew Tate and 17 against Tristan Tate. The legal action marks a significant escalation in a multi-jurisdictional case that has previously involved criminal proceedings in Romania. The brothers, who hold dual US and UK citizenship, have denied all allegations, with their legal counsel characterizing the prosecution as an abuse of authority.

The extradition process will now move through the US federal court system, where a judge must determine if the evidence provided by British authorities meets the threshold for transfer. The Tate brothers remain in custody pending further judicial review. This development follows the lifting of travel restrictions in Romania earlier in 2025, which allowed the siblings to relocate to the United States.
