Volvo brings electric EX60 to Turkey in November

Volvo will begin selling the fully electric EX60 in Turkey in November with two all-wheel-drive versions and a claimed range of up to 800 kilometers, Webtekno reported on Oct. 12.

The launch matters in a slowing market: automotive journalist Emre Özpeynirci wrote on X that Turkey’s car market contracted 15.45% in the first nine months, while Volvo sales rose 41% in the same period.

Webtekno said Volvo Turkey General Manager Alican Emiroğlu gave the sales timetable to Özpeynirci. The EX60 had previously been planned for a September arrival, but production-process disruptions pushed the Turkish showroom debut back by about two months, according to the report.

The version lineup described in the report includes the Volvo EX60 P10, an all-wheel-drive model with a claimed single-charge range of 515 kilometers. The higher EX60 P12 is described as offering 644 kilometers in standard use and as much as 800 kilometers under ideal driving conditions and at low speeds.

The report did not give Turkish pricing, allocation volumes or an exact November sales date. It also did not specify how the stated range figures were tested, a material point for buyers comparing electric vehicles across markets and regulatory standards.

Volvo recently introduced the ES90 luxury sedan in Turkey, according to Webtekno. The EX60 launch would expand the Swedish brand’s electric vehicle range in the country despite the reported market contraction and import constraints.
