President Trump's top national security aides met privately at Camp David on Friday to discuss potential U.S. operations in Iran and against Houthi forces in Yemen, officials said.
Officials said Vice President Vance chaired the session and that attendees included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, White House envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Joint Chiefs chair Gen. Dan Caine.
"Things were decided or at least deeply discussed," one official said, referring to the Middle East crises. Officials said the meeting was not publicly announced and lasted for hours.
President Trump said on Thursday: "Now I have to make a decision: either Iran signs the deal, or it won't exist any longer." Officials said he is also weighing a request from Saudi Arabia to join airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen; U.S. participation would mark a significant escalation.

Officials said the meeting focused on next steps if negotiations with Iran remain stalled and on options for supporting a Saudi offensive in Yemen. They described operational briefings but declined to detail specific targeting or timelines.
Officials added that Mr. Trump had been leaning against direct U.S. strikes in Yemen but that his stance could change based on incoming intelligence and allied requests.
Officials said a presidential decision could come within 48 hours as advisers finalize options and legal reviews.
