Singapore aircraft market gets $1.06 bn growth forecast
Research and Markets ties the 2025–2030 outlook to tourism, low-cost carriers and demand for more efficient fleets.

Research and Markets forecast Singapore’s commercial aircraft market would expand by $1.06 billion from 2025 to 2030 in a promotional press release distributed by GlobeNewswire on Oct. 15.
The forecast implies measured growth rather than a sharp acceleration. The $1.06 billion increase equals about 18% of an implied 2025 base of $6.0 billion if the release’s 3.4% compound annual growth rate, a smoothed yearly pace, is applied over five years, according to Atlas360 calculations.
The firm said its report, “Commercial Aircraft Market in Singapore 2026-2030,” covers market size, forecasts, segmentation and competitive analysis across about 25 vendors. It said demand is supported by Singapore’s role as an aviation hub, tourism growth, aerospace and defense investment, and interest in lighter aircraft.
The forecast points to aircraft replacement, fleet additions and modernization as airlines respond to passenger traffic and route expansion, according to the press release. Research and Markets also identified low-cost carriers as a source of demand for manufacturers, lessors, maintenance providers and other aviation companies.
The report segments the market by aircraft type, propulsion, application, ownership and region. Categories include narrow-body, wide-body and regional aircraft; turbofan, a jet engine that uses a fan to improve thrust and efficiency; turboprop, a turbine engine that drives a propeller; passenger and cargo applications; and owned or leased aircraft.
Companies listed in the vendor analysis include AerCap Holdings NV, Airbus SE, ATR Aircraft, Avolon Holdings Ltd., BOC Aviation Ltd., Embraer SA, SIA Engineering Co., SMBC Aviation Capital Ltd., ST Engineering Ltd. and The Boeing Co. The press release said the analysis assesses pricing, profitability, competition and promotional activity.
Research and Markets said demand for fuel-efficient engines and the use of eco-friendly and recycled materials may create opportunities across Singapore’s commercial aviation supply chain. The release did not provide airline order figures, passenger-volume data or company-specific revenue forecasts, limiting verification of the demand assumptions behind the projection.
