Medicover expects India exit to close in November
The company said its share of the €1.2 billion transaction should generate about €740 million in proceeds.

Medicover AB said on its Nov. 4 Q3 2026 earnings call that its India divestment, valued at €1.2 billion, is expected to close in November or in Q4.
The sale would end Medicover’s India exposure. Chief Executive Officer John Stubbington said the company’s 66.1% holding means it expects about €740 million in proceeds, compared with the €1.2 billion total transaction value.
Stubbington said Medicover and local partners sold 100% of the India business. He said most figures in the presentation refer to continuing operations unless specified otherwise, reflecting the planned removal of the India business from Medicover’s reporting base.
“It’s another consistent quarter where we’ve seen good growth, and it’s our seventh quarter of year-on-year margin improvement,” Stubbington said on the call. The available transcript excerpt did not provide revenue, profit or margin percentages.
Chief Financial Officer Anand Patel was listed among company participants on the call. The transcript excerpt did not include his remarks or any market reaction to the Q3 update.
