Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines hits record trading day on 2028 bookings
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines achieved its best trading day ever on October 7, 2026, following the launch of 39 new 2028 cruise itineraries.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines recorded its highest-ever trading day on Oct. 7, 2026, as the company opened bookings for a new 2028 cruise programme. The launch of 39 sailings, which include regional UK departures and fly-cruise options, surpassed the previous record set in July 2026.
This performance marks the second time this year the cruise operator has broken its internal trading record. The July high followed the release of an 87-night Amazon and Antarctica Grand Voyage, according to the company.
Among the most popular itineraries were a 13-night
Demand for the new collection remained high across multiple categories, with the operator reporting strong interest in both European and long-haul voyages. Among the most popular itineraries were a 13-night Northern European cruise and an 18-night trip covering the Italian Riviera and Amalfi Coast. A 37-night island-hopping voyage through Bermuda, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico also saw significant interest.

Fred. Olsen attributed the recent trading success to sustained demand for its smaller-ship cruising model and ongoing investment in the onboard experience. The company previously saw its Scenic Highlights of Canada cruise sell out in less than two weeks after an early release, preceding the wider programme launch.
To support the new bookings, the operator is offering a Freedom Fare Price Promise for sailings booked by Nov. 4, 2026. This policy allows passengers to receive cabin upgrades or onboard credit if the fare is reduced during the introductory period. Solo travellers can also access specific cabins without single supplements during this time frame.
