ESPN's Field Yates released his initial 2026 fantasy football rankings, with Bijan Robinson topping the list for PPR formats.

ESPN fantasy football analyst Field Yates has published his initial 2026 points-per-reception (PPR) fantasy football rankings, listing Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson as the No. 1 overall player.
Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs is ranked No. 2 overall, while San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey sits third. Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase is the first wide receiver on the board, coming in at No. 5 overall.
Yates’ rankings run 160 players deep and cover all standard fantasy positions, including running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks, kickers and team defense/special teams.
Early leaders by position Two of the top position leaders in Yates’ early board are:
- TE1: Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (No. 16 overall)
- QB1: Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (No. 26 overall)
McCaffrey’s spot near the top of the list comes asourceser a season in which, per ESPN’s notes, he finished as the top fantasy scorer and tied a career high with 413 touches.
As is typical for preseason fantasy projections, the rankings are expected to change over the summer as player performance and team situations evolve.
