Bears agree to sign wide receiver Scotty Miller after rookie minicamp tryout

The Chicago Bears have agreed to sign wide receiver Scotty Miller asourceser he took part in the team’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Miller, 28, spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He finished the 2025 season with nine receptions for 62 yards.

His most productive year came in 2020 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he posted 33 catches for 501 yards and three touchdowns. Miller also contributed during Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl LV run, recording four postseason receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown.

The move puts Miller on Chicago’s 90-man offseason roster as he looks to compete for a spot ahead of the regular season.
