Arrvel adds 4-by-6 Bluetooth label printer
The Emdoor Information brand is targeting online sellers and small businesses with a compact direct-thermal device for shipping and inventory labels.

Arrvel on Oct. 12 added the A42BT, a 4-by-6-inch Bluetooth thermal shipping-label printer, to its label-printer portfolio, Emdoor Information International said in a company announcement.
At its stated top speed of 150 millimeters a second, the printer could move roughly one 6-inch label length in about one second, according to Atlas360 calculations, while avoiding ink or toner used by conventional office printers.
The company is positioning the printer for e-commerce sellers, small businesses and home offices that regularly produce shipping labels, inventory tags, barcodes and product-identification labels. Emdoor said the A42BT supports mobile printing through the FlashLabel Pro app and desktop printing through USB.
The printer is built around the commonly used 4-by-6-inch shipping-label format and supports label widths from about 1.57 inches to 4.3 inches, Emdoor said. Arrvel said it is compatible with Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy and USPS workflows.
Direct thermal printing creates text and barcodes through heat, removing the need for ink cartridges or ribbons. Arrvel said that design is intended to reduce routine maintenance for users whose printing needs are mainly labels rather than documents.
The A42BT measures about 7.2 by 3.15 by 2.56 inches and weighs about 0.86 pound, Emdoor said. Its 7.2-inch length is 1.2 inches longer than the 6-inch side of the shipping label it is designed around, according to Atlas360 calculations.
The announcement did not include pricing, sales targets, production volumes or a dated retail rollout beyond directing buyers to Arrvel’s Amazon store. Arrvel is a brand of Emdoor Information, which the announcement described as a publicly listed parent company with more than 10 years of experience.
