Andy Reid says Kelce stayed focused despite Swift wedding rumors

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Travis Kelce’s offseason work has not been affected by public speculation about his relationship with Taylor Swift and rumors of a potential wedding. Reid’s comments came during the team’s offseason period as Kansas City looks ahead to the 2026 NFL season after missing the playoffs for the first time in 11 years.

Reid said Kelce has been around the facility for most, if not all, of the program and took part in the mandatory camp. The coach described the tight end as engaged and motivated, adding that he has seen “no distractions” connected to the wedding chatter.

Asked about the wedding talk, Reid joked that Swift might be the one handling any planning, drawing a comparison to his own experience when he got married. Reid also declined to say whether he would attend, responding that he could not comment.

Kelce’s role and contract situation

Kelce, 36, is preparing for his 14th NFL season. The veteran recently re-signed with the Chiefs on a one-year, $12 million deal, keeping him tied to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and a Kansas City offense that has leaned on Kelce’s production for more than a decade.
