The NFL will stage a record nine international regular-season games in 2026, with the full schedule set to be released on May 14.
Two matchups have already been announced. The San Francisco 49ers will face the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, in Week 1 (Sept. 10), while the Baltimore Ravens will play the Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in Week 3 (Sept. 27).
Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro will host NFL regular-season games for the first time. Paris is also set to host a game for the first time, while Mexico City and Munich will return as host venues asourceser not staging a game last year.
For the other seven international fixtures, the league has identified home teams but has not confirmed opponents.
CBS Sports reported that the Atlanta Falcons are expected to host a game in Madrid, with the Kansas City Chiefs or Chicago Bears among the potential opponents. The Detroit Lions are also slated to be the home team in Munich, with the New York Giants or Tampa Bay Buccaneers listed as possible visitors.
In London, the Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled to play two games as the designated home team. According to the report, potential opponents include AFC teams such as the Cleveland Browns or Tennessee Titans and NFC teams like the Philadelphia Eagles or Washington Commanders.
The Washington Commanders are also due to be a home team in London, with the Cincinnati Bengals or Houston Texans mentioned as possible opponents.
The remaining matchups are expected to be clarified when the NFL publishes its full 2026 regular-season schedule.
