Seven of the eleven Formula 1 teams will feature rookie drivers during the Free Practice 1 (FP1) session at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. This aligns with F1 regulations requiring each full-time driver to yield two practice sessions per season to a rookie, defined as a driver with no more than two Grand Prix starts.
Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Williams, Audi, and Cadillac are implementing these changes. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a common testing venue, making it a logical choice for junior driver integration.

Fred Vesti will drive for Mercedes, Dino Beganovic for Ferrari, and Leonardo Fornaroli for McLaren. Ayumu Iwasa will participate for Red Bull, Luke Browning for Williams, Paul Aron for Audi, and Colton Herta for Cadillac.
