Ukraine Deploys Domestic Ballistic Missile Amid Escalating Energy and Infrastructure Conflict

Ukraine has conducted the first combat deployment of the domestically produced FP-7 tactical ballistic missile. The system, which features an estimated 200km range, is currently being developed as an interceptor under the European Freyja missile defense program.

Russian forces have intensified strikes against Ukrainian critical infrastructure, specifically targeting power grids, educational facilities, and transport bridges in Kyiv. Simultaneously, Ukraine continues its long-range drone campaign against Russian oil refineries, impacting approximately 45% of Russian refining capacity and contributing to regional fuel supply volatility.

International pressure is mounting as the U.S. administration considers export restrictions on diesel to stabilize global prices, pressuring European allies to release emergency reserves. Meanwhile, Moscow has issued warnings regarding the defense of the Kaliningrad exclave, citing potential NATO blockade threats, while signaling a conditional willingness to return seized Western corporate assets under favorable diplomatic scenarios.
