Noel Clarke pleads not guilty to 6 sexual offence charges
The Doctor Who and Kidulthood actor faces two sexual-assault charges, three voyeurism charges and one exposure charge involving five women.
Actor Noel Clarke pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to six sexual-offence charges at Westminster Magistrates Court in London, according to a BBC Entertainment & Arts report published the same day.
The BBC report said Clarke, 50, faces two sexual-assault charges, three voyeurism charges and one exposure charge tied to alleged offences involving five women from 2007 to 2016, placing a known film and television figure on a criminal-court timetable.
At the hearing, Clarke entered not-guilty pleas to all charges. A not-guilty plea is a procedural step, not a finding on the allegations.
The report did not include comment from Clarke beyond the pleas or set out prosecution arguments. The charges remain allegations unless proved in court.
Clarke is known for playing Mickey Smith in Doctor Who between 2005 and 2010 and for Kidulthood. The BBC described him as an actor, writer, producer and director.
His next listed appearance is at Southwark Crown Court on Nov. 18, the BBC report said.
