EXL adds 250 AI specialists with Aimpoint Digital deal
The purchase brings platform-engineering expertise tied to Anthropic, Databricks and Snowflake, but EXL did not disclose the transaction price.

EXL acquired Aimpoint Digital on Nov. 5, adding about 250 AI engineers, platform architects, analytics consultants, decision scientists and AI strategists, the Nasdaq-listed data and AI company said.
Financial terms were not disclosed, so the measurable scale is talent: about 250 specialists, compared with EXL’s more than 74,000 employees across six continents.
Aimpoint Digital is a data and AI consulting and platform-engineering firm that builds enterprise data and AI platforms. EXL said the deal expands its ability to support customers from AI strategy and architecture through engineering, deployment and managed operations.
“Clients require a partner who can take them from AI ambition to impact at enterprise scale,” Rohit Kapoor, EXL’s chairman and chief executive officer, said.
Ben Yopp, Aimpoint Digital’s chief executive officer and co-founder, said: “Joining EXL lets us do more breakthrough work on a much larger scale.”
EXL said Aimpoint Digital’s expertise includes work with Anthropic, Databricks and Snowflake. The company said the acquisition deepens its relationships with those technology partners and adds capacity for complex, multi-year enterprise transformation projects.
The deal follows EXL’s recent acquisition of iMerit, which EXL described as focused on AI model training, evaluation and reinforcement learning. EXL said the two acquisitions extend its data and AI capabilities across strategy, engineering, deployment and operations.
