Yemen's Houthi rebels have publicly declared their unwavering support for Iran against what they describe as aggression from the United States and Israel. Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi issued a statement on March 13, 2026, affirming their readiness for any developments in the escalating regional conflict.

This declaration follows a significant uptick in hostilities, which began on February 28 when the U.S. and Israel reportedly launched military strikes against Iran. Iran has since retaliated, further intensifying the volatile situation. The Houthi movement views this conflict as a broader war against Islam and Muslims.

Reports indicate that the U.S.-Israeli attacks resulted in numerous casualties, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several other high-ranking officials.
