SalesCloser margins may exceed 80 % over long term
The Vancouver AI software company framed Sky, patents and a Tendril collaboration as levers for scaling subscription sales automation.

SalesCloser Technologies Ltd. said in an Oct. 13 GlobeNewswire press release that Chief Executive Officer Ali Tajskandar sees a potential long-term route for gross margin to exceed 80%.
The company said it currently operates at about 70% gross margin, revenue left after direct costs, making scale central as it promotes Sky, its new onboarding platform.
Tajskandar identified three measures for the business. “Revenue growth, continued technology innovation, and margin expansion are the key measures of success for us. We currently operate at approximately 70% gross margins and believe that, as we scale, there is a potential path to exceeding 80% over the long term.”
SalesCloser, based in Vancouver and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange as SCAI, said Sky is designed to let businesses create and deploy customized AI sales agents in minutes through a conversational interface.
The company described its wider product work as covering multi-agent interactions and customer engagement across text, voice and avatar formats. Its platform is intended to automate sales tasks including lead qualification, product demonstrations, follow-ups and meeting scheduling.
The press release said SalesCloser has filed ten patent applications and received three U.S. patents. Tajskandar discussed patent work tied to AI appointment booking and the management of hybrid customer sessions across text, voice and avatar channels, according to the release.
SalesCloser also referred to its fiscal third quarter 2026 results, saying its customer base spans several industries and geographies. Tajskandar said technology and financial services are the company’s largest customer verticals, while the United States is its biggest market.
The company said its platform works under a subscription-based software-as-a-service model, meaning customers pay recurring fees for hosted software. SalesCloser said the product integrates with existing customer-relationship management and business systems and supports multilingual deployment.
SalesCloser said its recently announced collaboration with Tendril is designed to combine autonomous AI engagement with human-assisted outbound dialing. The company said the arrangement is meant to give customers a mix of automated interactions and traditional human sales outreach where appropriate.
The benefits described for Sky, future customer adoption and the margin path were presented in the company’s release as forward-looking statements under Canadian securities laws, not reported outcomes. The Financial Post page identified the item as partnership content supplied by GlobeNewswire and said Postmedia had not reviewed it.
SalesCloser said Tajskandar’s priorities include revenue growth, margin expansion, continued development of the company’s proprietary platform and entry into additional industry verticals and use cases.
