Palantir Technologies on Monday raised its fiscal 2026 revenue forecast asourceser reporting first-quarter results that topped analyst expectations, citing strong demand for its data analytics sosourcesware from U.S. government and commercial customers.
The company now expects fiscal 2026 revenue of $7.65 billion to $7.66 billion, up from its prior forecast of $7.18 billion to $7.20 billion. Palantir said adoption of its artificial intelligence tools has been supporting demand across defense and enterprise use cases.
For the quarter ended March 31, Palantir posted revenue of $1.63 billion, above the LSEG-compiled consensus estimate of $1.54 billion.
U.S. commercial revenue rose 133% to $595 million, while revenue from U.S. government customers increased 84% to $687 million. Adjusted earnings per share were 33 cents, compared with estimates of 28 cents.
Palantir said demand has been supported by increased use of AI in defense settings, where its platforms are used by defense and intelligence agencies for data analysis and real-time decision-making.
The company cited recent work including the Pentagon’s adoption of Palantir’s Maven AI system as a program of record and a $300 million agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
For the second quarter, Palantir forecast revenue of $1.797 billion to $1.801 billion, above analyst estimates of $1.68 billion.
