Malawi Music Stars Set for Lakeside Accountant's Explosion

A lineup of prominent Malawian musicians will perform at the Accountant's Explosion concert on September 19 at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge. Organized by promoter Jai Banda, the all-night event promises continuous performances from dusk until dawn.

All-Night Musical Journey Planned

Billed under the tagline "one night, many stories, one stage, one explosion," the concert is designed as a narrative experience. Doors open at 6 PM, with performances scheduled to continue into the early morning hours.

Jai Banda, known as Mr. Entertainer in Malawi's music circles, stated the event crafts a unique musical journey for attendees. He emphasized the strategic placement of each artist to create a cohesive experience from entry to the final song at dawn.

Diverse Artist Lineup Announced

The event features a diverse roster of artists, including Skeffa Chimoto, Dan Muyaya, Ras Palinji, Thommy Zimitsani, Anthony Makondetsa, Khonzie Masimbe, and Anjiru Fumulani. Live sets will also come from Six Solid Band and Makasu Band. The evening begins with DJ Tackdeal, followed by Six Solid Band. Makasu Band, Ras Palinji, Thommy Zimitsani, and Dan Muyaya are scheduled to perform before Skeffa Chimoto's 10 PM slot. After midnight, Moda Fumulani, Khonzie Masimbe, and Anthony Makondetsa will take the stage, with Anjiru Fumulani closing the event in the early hours.
