JPMorgan Expands European Retail Banking, Addresses Risk Exposure

JPMorgan is expanding its consumer banking operations into Europe, with Germany identified as the next market for its digital bank, Chase. This follows nearly five years after its initial launch in the UK.

The bank is also actively managing its risk exposure, particularly in private equity-linked loans. Discussions are underway for risk transfer deals concerning approximately $4 billion in such loans.
