WestGold Metals agreed to sell its Isoneva option to Jesmond Capital for 1.08 million shares, about 9.9% of the company, shifting ownership prospects for the asset.
Market reaction was pending at publication, officials said.
The company announced the transaction as a divestment of its contractual option over the Isoneva gold property.
1.08 million share consideration
Officials said the share consideration equals roughly 1.08 million WestGold shares, representing about 9.9% of issued stock. The company said the arrangement transfers the option rights on Isoneva to Jesmond and removes WestGold's optional exposure to that project.
Officials provided no near-term guidance on operational effects or on whether the deal will change WestGold's exploration programme elsewhere. For investors, the trade is a discrete asset-level transfer rather than a cash acquisition or a broader strategic tie-up, officials said.
Officials said completion is expected by September 30, 2026.
