Google’s next Pixel phones could ship with less RAM in their base configurations than the current Pixel 10 lineup, according to a May 4 report citing leaked specifications attributed to MysticLeaks.
The leak suggests the standard Pixel 11 may start with 8GB of RAM, down from 12GB on the Pixel 10.
Pro models may add a lower-RAM configuration
The same leaked specs indicate Google could introduce a 12GB RAM option for the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Those models currently start at 16GB, though the leak suggests 16GB variants would still be available.
The report notes that adding a lower-spec configuration could affect pricing across the lineup, but Google has not announced specifications or official prices for the Pixel 11 models.
Other upgrades may still be coming
Despite the potential RAM reductions, the leak also points to possible camera upgrades and brighter displays on the Pro models.
Broader memory supply constraints
The reported configuration changes are being linked to a wider global RAM shortage affecting multiple manufacturers, including Samsung. The supply crunch has also been cited as a factor behind price increases and specification changes across products ranging from gaming handhelds to Raspberry Pi devices.
Google has not confirmed the leaked specifications.
