Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington next Tuesday for a White House meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. The visit, scheduled during Netanyahu's trip to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, marks his seventh meeting with the president during the current administration.

The diplomatic engagement occurs as the conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran intensifies following the collapse of a recent memorandum of understanding. U.S. Central Command reported its 13th consecutive night of strikes against Iranian targets, while retaliatory actions have resulted in the deaths of three U.S. soldiers in Jordan. The administration is simultaneously overseeing stalled negotiations between Israel and Lebanon regarding the withdrawal of forces from occupied territories.

The meeting also addresses the ongoing war in Gaza, where local health authorities report at least 73,311 Palestinian deaths. Despite international pressure and an outstanding indictment from the International Criminal Court, the Trump administration has reaffirmed that Netanyahu will not face arrest while in the United States.
