Moneyview pays Rs 160 crore incentive to CEO

Moneyview paid CEO Puneet Agarwal a one-time performance incentive of Rs 160 crore in fiscal 2026, cutting reported net profit by about Rs 120 crore after tax, the company said.

Reaction pending.

Rs 1,092-crore IPO on Sept 24 The company said the incentive was non-recurring and that it has no plans for similar awards. Data showed the payout reduced reported FY26 net profit by roughly 30%, equal to about Rs 120 crore after tax, according to the filings shared by the firm.

If investors treat the payment as a one-off, the IPO is likely to be evaluated on recurring earnings and loan-book metrics. If investors instead view the payout as a governance or compensation risk, subscription and aftermarket performance could be weaker relative to the offer price band.

The firm has set an IPO size of Rs 1,092 crore with a price band of Rs 32-34 per share and an opening date of September 24, the company said. The allotment, subscription and listing outcomes around that date will be the first market test of investor appetite for the stock.

The key immediate variables to watch are subscription levels on and after September 24, changes to the offer timetable and any further disclosures on executive compensation ahead of listing.
