Netflix announced on May 13, 2026, a global live tour for its animated film "K-pop Demon Hunters," in partnership with AEG Presents. The announcement was made during Netflix's 2026 Upfronts presentation, indicating an expansion of the film's franchise into live entertainment.

The tour aims to translate elements of the Oscar-winning animated musical into a live experience for fans. A waitlist has been established for individuals interested in ticket information and tour cities, with specific dates and on-sale details to be released later in the year.

"K-pop Demon Hunters" has achieved significant viewership, becoming Netflix's most popular film with 236 million views since its June 20 premiere and 482 million views in the second half of the previous year. The film also secured two Academy Awards for Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature. A sequel is currently in production, with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans returning as directors.
