The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is set to receive an allocation of 70,000 doses of the Ervebo vaccine, a critical step in intensifying its response to an active Ebola epidemic. This vaccine shipment, confirmed by the World Health Organization (WHO), arrives as the country grapples with a health crisis that has already recorded 5,208 confirmed infections and tragically led to 2,476 deaths.
