Trump asserted that the campaign, which began in June 2025, has severely crippled Iran's military capabilities. Trump detailed the alleged successes of the operation, which he personally named "Epic Fury." He claimed that the U.S. military has destroyed 58 Iranian vessels, including its navy and mine-laying capabilities, 90% of its missiles, and 85% of its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The former President emphasized the necessity of "finishing the job properly," arguing that an early departure would only necessitate a return to the region within two years.
Addressing domestic concerns, Trump also stated that rising gasoline prices, attributed to the ongoing conflict with Iran, would soon decrease, urging the public to trust his administration on this matter. These remarks underscore a continued commitment to the U.S. military strategy concerning Iran.
