One source described her decision to seek treatment as a recognition that she needed intervention, adding that she had “hit rock bottom.”

 

Sources also characterized the rehabilitation step as potentially helpful in her legal situation, describing it as a sign she is taking the matter seriously. They said the decision has been supported by her sons and other people in her close circle.

 

The program is scheduled to last 30 days, according to the sources, though they said it could be extended.
