Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has declared a public emergency, enabling the city to re-implement and broaden juvenile curfew regulations in anticipation of the Memorial Day weekend.
New Emergency Order Details
The emergency order, in effect immediately, applies to individuals under the age of 17. Under the new rules, a curfew is in place from Sunday through Thursday, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The hours are extended to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
