Seattle festival shooting kills 3 near Space Needle

Three people were killed and four others injured in a shooting at the Bite of Seattle food festival on Sunday evening, according to Seattle police. The gunfire erupted at about 6:00 p.m. local time near the Space Needle, a heavily visited area that drew festival crowds.

Officials said the incident appeared to involve a shootout between two individuals. Police confirmed that two men, aged 19 and 44, and a 56-year-old woman were among those who died.
