Thousands Protest G7 Summit in Geneva

Thousands of protesters gathered in Geneva, Switzerland, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, ahead of the Group of Seven (G7) summit in nearby Evian-les-Bains, France. The G7's contribution to global GDP has decreased from 70% to 40%, while its member states represent one-tenth of the global population. This shift in global power dynamics is underscored by the expansion of groups like BRICS, which has doubled its membership from five to eleven countries.
