Google said its Gemini artificial intelligence platform has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, marking a major scale milestone for the company’s consumer and productivity-oriented AI services.
The company attributed the rise to recent momentum and said the total increased by 50 million users over the last month. Gemini is being delivered through Google’s core products, including its web browser, the Android operating system, and the company’s productivity software suite, which expands where users can encounter the service.
