Daesung Heat Energies, a renewable energy subsidiary of Daesung Industrial, is expanding its presence in the European heating and cooling market. The company showcased its latest heat pump technologies at the Heating Tech Expo 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, aiming to capitalize on Europe's push for electrification and carbon reduction.

Daesung Unveils New Heat Pump Technologies

The company featured two primary product lines at the three-day exhibition, held from September 8 to 10 at Ptak Warsaw Expo. These included its Air Source Heat Pump DC Inverter Series and the Geo & Hydro Heat Pump “DHGI 5N.” The event served as a platform for Daesung to engage with European buyers and engineering firms, assessing local technical requirements and market trends.

Air Source Unit Achieves A+++ Rating

Daesung's air-source heat pump has secured CE certification and an A+++ energy-efficiency rating, the highest classification under Europe’s energy-labeling system. This system operates effectively across a wide outdoor temperature range, from minus 25 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius. It also maintains a stable hot-water supply even at minus 15 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for colder regions in Eastern and Northern Europe.

The air-source unit incorporates a cascade control system, allowing up to eight units to connect via a single controller. This design supports diverse applications, from residential buildings to larger commercial and public facilities.

DHGI 5N Integrates Geothermal and Hydro Power

The DHGI 5N geothermal and hydro heat pump integrates Daesung Heat Energies’ patented circuit technology. Equipped with an electronic expansion valve and an inverter compressor, this system delivers heating, cooling, and hot water from a single unit. This combination aims to provide both energy efficiency and operational convenience for users.

Daesung Heat Energies plans to leverage insights gained from the expo to expand its distribution channels and forge technology partnerships across Europe. An official from the company stated that participating in the Heating Tech Expo provided a direct opportunity to introduce their next-generation inverter heat pumps, which meet stringent European standards and certifications.
