The NFL has suspended Indianapolis Colts cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt for one game, ruling that he violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy. The decision was issued on Friday and will keep Taylor-Britt out of Indianapolis’ first regular-season matchup of the 2025 campaign.
Under the terms announced by the league, Taylor-Britt must sit out the Colts’ season-opening game against the Baltimore Ravens. Officials said he is still permitted to take part in the team’s summer training camp program and can play in preseason games.

The league’s suspension was issued after that court resolution and applies to the start of the 2025 regular season.
Taylor-Britt later joined the Colts in the current offseason as a free agent. The suspension means his first regular-season appearance for Indianapolis will be delayed by at least one week.

The one-game absence requires Indianapolis to reshuffle its defensive backfield rotation for Week 1. With Taylor-Britt unavailable against Baltimore, the Colts will need alternative options at cornerback as they prepare for their opening test.
